Welcome to Montana Arabians! We are a very new Arabian Breeding program in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Although we have been studying and appreciating the Arabian Horse for well over a decade, we became serious about our program in December of 2007, when we began our search for a foundation mare. We already owned two purebred mares, but after all of our research a few trends had emerged over the years in what we liked and disliked. It became obvious that their were certain bloodlines that we were drawn too, and we decided that if we were going to be serious about breeding we needed to focus on a certain type of horse with a certain set of abilities and with the genetic backing to pass these characteristics on. So began the search to find mares carrying the blood of the stallions we had decided to build our program around... Bay El Bey, Bask, El Shaklan, Aladdinn and Ali Jamaal. Currently our mares have multiple lines to Bask, Bay El Bay and Aladdinn. So in selecting stallions to breed them too, we will be choosing predominantly El Shaklan and Ali Jamaal sons and grandsons. Our program will stay small, and will focus around the highest caliber of mares we can find. We welcome your inquiries on our program and our horses, and look forward to speaking with you soon!
